I have been up and about but one thing for sure, I have been health and enjoying life with a measure of self respect.I have been Awol from the blogging sites just for one reason, been busy building communities feeding the masses and engaging in debates around nationalisation it’s not a subject that people will like to engage on with honest in most cases tempers run to the Sahara for some real heat  I’m going to make the case here for my call and many others who feel its worth a short

During the dark days when to be black meant you are sub-human when the Adam smith and his group of economic explores graced the length and breath of our mother land Africa they found us in business, our form may not have been the documented one smith had in mind but it worked communities where sustainable and no one went to bed without food. The promoters of smith’s non progressive agenda used the chiefs and peasant kings to build corrupt relationship and that marked the beginning of corrupt tendencies that we see to date they would exchange a mirror for a piece of land on the hill-top where they built institution and churches that acted as control rooms enabling them to spread their anti-African agenda in the end all African systems of trade where replace by one the capitalist where people only had to sell their labour in return for paid wages from surplus they produced any failure to sell your labour meant you and your family going with out food and basic needs this has been the case for generation now and any move to change the trend has seen violent acts from the capitalist a case in point is the continued bombardment of Libya.

To day you have governments acting as nitghtwatch man states many of them in Africa whose economies are managed by a handful white people who can’t even account how they accumulated such wealth because the big portion of such wealth is generated from exploitation of the black people in the mining fields, in the coffee plantation and sugar refineries one such a good case is the Kakira sugar works owned by the Indians who continue to import labour from india and keeping the sugar cane cutters in the worst of the living conditions  but walk away with millions of dollars each year in profit which has funded their opulent life style for generation and use their scholarship scheme to trap the unsuspecting political leaders hence living the entire working class in the hands of rude and poorly fed looking indians who issue orders and name call them .

People who have been to many part of the world will agree with me that each country/countries have laws that protect the health and redistribution of such wealth unlike in case of so many African state the ideology of capitalism is at its full length with leadership unable  micro-manage redistribution of wealth and profits to uplift the social state of many of the citizens who can’t afford themselves the only way we can address such issues is by nationalisation this will allow governments look at the bank balance of big multi-lateral companies and share the profits with the masses in a fair way other than the winner take all which we are seeing today which has left so many societies unable to afford basic needs a case in point is the inability for so many people requiring HIV/AIDS life saving drugs to get on treatment while over five communication companies milk the Ugandan economy to its knees and non in government knows how much surplus they walk away with each financial year i wonder how many lives could have been save if the government was in total control or partly in charge of the industry.

There is a school of thought from the pundits and those who are beneficiaries of the capitalist systems most of them are products of the very schools built with slave blood because some how their fore fathers where the chiefs and kings and sold their subjects at will to keep their grip on good life are raising an argument that nationalisation will drive investors away but this is a washed argument that has lost its shine years ago for many reasons but i will offer you some

Any serious business person will know that the world’s youngest population lives in African that means this is the only place where new markets can be developed leading to the new term emerging markets hence even if we nationalize or go the state capitalism route investors will keep coming because they can only make real sells here.

The many discoveries of oil and precious metals in Africa keep the investors eye on this part of the world as this is what drives many economies in the world and we could decide to trade with in ourselves using trade blocks like COMESA with an access market of two hundred million people is enough to bring any investor on board

Africa is not a place where we find our selves but who we are building it and making it a success story will require making some tough un popular decision one of the many is to begin to nationalize strategic sectors of our economies  some countries like Sweden have achieved more for its citizens because of its involvement in the private sector
